Hi I'm
Jenny Oetting
(Oh-ding)
I was one of those kids that would spend most of her time looking at old family photo albums and watching home movies. I remember so much of my childhood because my Grandparents made an effort to bring along their hefty camera equipment.
I bring that love of nostalgia and candid moments into my work. I want to be that person for you. I mean, I'm not your Grandma, but I want to be that person to capture your special, every day, and in between moments.
What's an Ebenezer?
I love to joke that I am just a huge fan of Ebenezer Scrooge.
But I got inspired by this word back in 2016. I was training to become a summer camp videographer in Black Mountain, NC and the trainer described it as a "stone of help," or a reminder of blessings and significant moments. He shared that the videos we'd create for the campers would become their own personal Ebenezers.
After that summer training session, I knew that would be the foundation of how I created and how Ebenezer Visuals came to be.
A little about me
01.
I’m Jenny
I was born in South Florida, and raised in Central Georgia - the most southern thing about me is I say "ya'll" but I still consider myself a Florida girl at heart - my favorite place to be is in or near the water.
02.
Maizy Moo
My dog is truly my dream girl. I had always wanted a Great Pyrenees or Golden Retriever and then I found out what an English Cream Golden was. It was love at first sight and yes, I will show you pictures :)
03.
Thrifting
if I'm not in the water or playing with Maiz, you'll most likely find me in a Thrift Store. I love to look for vintage Disney items, ceramics, granny-esq clothing, and ANYTHING rattan.
My White Whale is a rattan arched shelf.

Interesting Fact
I've worn a lot of hats along my journey of becoming a visual storyteller: I was a cast member at Walt Disney World, served for Smoothie King, Chick-fil-A, and local coffee shops, worked on a Mountaintop Market, and I most recently got certified as an Aqua Fitness Instructor. Life's too short too only wear one hat.
